Hawaii's Consent to
Adoption Law

The consent may be signed any time following the birth. The consent also may be signed before the birth, but not until the sixth month of pregnancy. However, the consent will not be accepted until after the birth of the child.

Pre-consents are allowed in the state of Hawaii.

The consent is irrevocable once the child is placed with an adoptive family.
